Cheers and merry Christmas.

. You want your watch to be balanced and to sit evenly on your wrist. If it doesnt give use your jewelry hammer to force the head. Now you have a little section of links and a long disconnected watch band.

That is push from the side which does not have a split end. Use one of the pushpins to push out the pin holding the wristband link in place. To reassemble repeat the previous steps but do them backwards.

Turn the watch band over. Dont be afraid to give it some elbow grease. Put one end of the pin in the inner side of one hole of the link.

PM if its a different kind or you need more help. Now you want to piece the remaining links back together and push a pin in as far as you can get it with your finger. Share on other sites.

Then remove the pins on the other side of the watch bracelet in the same way. Set the cotter pin aside in your parts tray with the extra links. Unscrew the threaded pin with a jewelers screwdriver turning it counterclockwise until it is far enough out of the link for you to remove by hand.

Remove the band from the holder when you cannot push the pin out any further. Take your pin pushers and find the pusher that will fit on the head of the link pin without touching the sleeve ring around the outside of the link. Now join the wristband.

In most friction pins theres a solid side and a split side push the solid side. Remove the watch and look. When putting it back together put it in solid side first from the way you took it out reverse the process.

Now you want to piece the remaining links back together and push a pin in as far as you can get it with your finger. Place the watch on a soft surface with the side of the bracelet up. GENTLY put your needlenose pliers on either side of the watch band and push the pin the rest of the way back into place.

Plan to remove an equal or close to equal number of links from each side of the clasp so that the claps remains in the center of the strap. Take your pin pusher and repeat the process from before to remove the cotter pin. You are supposed to use a small flat head screwdriver and insert the head into the small opening and use it to push the clip out in the direction of the arrow.

1 Use the right sized pin puncher 2 Tap gently 3 Tap on the correct side. Afterwards you will have a watch that is perfectly fitted for your wrist. Use the needle nose plier and hold the other side of the pin and detach the link.

Hold your watchband in one hand while pressing upwards on the part closest to the case while pressing downwards to remove the link. Inspect the backside of the links. Now count the number of links you want to remove and then repeat the same procedure to remove the unwanted links from the watch bracelet.

Holding the pusher steady take your small ball peen hammer and begin to tap on the end of the pin pusher with the flat head side. Align the pusher with the hole in the link and tap the pin out with the flat head of your ball peen hammer. Remove the pin upwards.

With the clasp done up pinch it at the side and see how many links gather together. The tip-off would be if the end of the pin seems split on one side only. If there is no arrow cast onto any of the links then your links are held together by threaded watch pins.

Before you start measure how many links you will need to remove to resize the band for your wrist. Push the sharp end of the pushpin against the head of the link pin. This gives you an idea of whether two four or six links need to come out.

The pins only fit back in one way tip first so youll know which end is correct pretty easily. Repeat the process to remove as many links that you want to. Spread your optical cleaning cloth out on a flat surface.

Make sure you take an equal amount of links from each side of the band. Protect your Pulsar watch face by laying it face down on the optical cleaning cloth while you are sizing the band. GENTLY put your needlenose pliers on either side of the watch band and push the pin the rest of the way back into place.

Now you have a little section of links and a long disconnected watch band. Center the point of the pin pusher over the link pin in the watch band. If you see that try pushing it out from the other side.
